Detailed, Customizable Patient Documentation
Connect’s comprehensive set of patient documentation features allows you to quickly and accurately complete documentation before your patient even leaves the building. Connect allows the clinician to enter data at the point of care on a workstation, laptop, or tablet computer. And because Connect’s documentation features are flexible, you decide what information to collect on each patient – as little or as much as you want.
Full Integration of the APTA's Guide
Connect contains the entire Guide to Physical Therapist Practice. Follow the Guide verbatim or organize the material any way that helps you practice efficiently.
Up to Code
APTA Connect contains the full library of diagnosis and CPT codes, including the ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes which are essential for proper billing. CCI Edits are updated every 90 days to keep billing information accurate, and up-to-date codes are part of the automatic update packages you receive each year with your subscription. Furthermore, our customers’ favorite codes feature lets you build a list of your most commonly used codes. For example: if you see only back patients, you can compile a list of back related diagnosis codes which are available to you on the fly.

Online CONNECTivity
Save time by communicating with your patients online – before or after they visit. Through Connect's Patient Interface you are able to fill out Patient Functional Outcomes, email your patients, send satisfaction surveys, and have patients send you medical history and demographic information through a secure web connection. This information is automatically populated into their electronic patient chart in Connect, thereby allowing your administrative staff to use their time more efficiently.
My Connect
For ultimate flexibility, this feature lets you adapt the program to the way you practice. Here’s just a sample of what you can do with My Connect:

Hardware Tools
For taking measurements during an office visit, Cedaron offers an assortment of electronic accessories. Readings register electronically onscreen and are automatically recorded into the appropriate fields without having to rekey any findings. Optional instruments available from Cedaron include:

APTA Connect features self-calibration for Cedaron’s electronic instruments, so you don’t need to use separate software or ship the instruments back to the manufacturer. We also do annual validations to ensure these instruments are still properly calibrated.

Flash Reports
Connect comes built-in with the most common reports our customers need. With Flash Reports you can instantly generate reports with a simple click or keystroke. You can also build an ad hoc report at any time and save it as a flash report, allowing you to run it at will. These reports get you your data fast, and new copies for specific staff members (physician, therapist, etc...) automatically populate based on patient information. Say goodbye to the days of entering the same data over and over again every time a new report is created!
National Database Participation
Cedaron is the sole vendor of APTA Connect, which enables users to belong to the APTA national outcomes database. Practices that choose to be a part of the APTA database program will be able to instantly compare their clinic against all others in the database, and benchmark reports will be electronically delivered right to you on a periodic basis.
Image Module
With Connect’s easy-to-use Image Module, scan, upload and store any type of document or image in a patient’s medical record. Add x-rays, photos of burns and wounds, prescriptions, Dr.’s notes and even MRI’s. Enhance your reporting by including images for insurance and other purposes. Connect’s Image Module can truly help your practice go paperless!

Participating in Medicare’s Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) can qualify the typical PTPP/OTPP practice for thousands of dollars in Medicare bonus payments.
