Sales Executive Job Description


Reports to: VP of Sales

Department: Sales

Classification: Non-Management/Exempt



  • Initiate, contact and manage leads for all Cedaron Sales Opportunities to continually develop new business within various regions and industries on a regional and national basis.
  • Throughout the qualification process, identify the specific needs of individual clients, departments and entire organizations and how Cedaron’s software solutions meet those needs.
  • Prepare proposals and consult with prospects on software solutions.
  • Salesforce entry; complete documentation in Salesforce:
  • Entering all leads and contacts into Salesforce
  • Processing new leads
  • Maintain customer prospect profiles in Salesforce
  • Generate quotes through Salesforce and obtain approval before sending to potential customers
  • Researching Sales Criteria for follow-up on Cold Calling, entering data into Salesforce
  • Provide effective WebEx or On Site demonstrations on Cedaron software solutions
  • Participation in all Corporate sponsored programs and events when requested. Some travel is required to attend trade shows when selected to attend.
  • Proactively develop leads from trade and professional organizations, shows and events and other sources and record in Salesforce.
  • Report to management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new prospects.
  • Mentor new sales staff
  • Maintain long-term relationships with customers through the use of database, phone calls, personal meetings, activities, events and various other methods.
  • Assist in handling of customer problems, complaints and questions in person or by telephone
  • Collaborate with other sales representatives to present sales proposals to customers as necessary.
  • Present an appropriate business appearance at all times while working
  • Learn the products within 90 days of start date: The goal would be to have proficiency in communicating selling points and offering competitive lead information on Cold Calling follow-up.

General Responsibilities


  • Answer all Sales calls with-in 1 hour of call during normal business hours.
  • Take all prospect and customer calls
  • Act resourcefully and in an innovative way to solve problems and complete tasks
  • Communicate constructively to officers and team members on problems, ideas or any other insights to assist in defining new sales ideas, policies and procedures
  • Accurately complete documents which are essential for the operation of Cedaron Medical Inc.
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week and be compensated through Base salary and commissions.
  • Assist with Customer service and support when requested or needed

Desired Education, Training, skills and experience requirements:


  • 3+ years Sales experience
  • 3+ years working with CRM Systems, such as Maximizer,, or like products.
  • 3+ year’s proven success in Sales, optimally Healthcare Software Sales.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Tools, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail and FTP clients and Web Browsers
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Sales experience in Cardiology or Rehabilitation
  • Background in Rehabilitation or Cardiology, with hospital environments
  • Experience documenting Sales process, notes and following Sales procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in computer or business related field

Medical Software Engineer Job Description


Reports to: Software Director

Department: Engineering

Classification: Non-Management/Exempt


Responsibilities include:

  • Create and troubleshoot modern web applications, including front-end and back-end implementations.
  • Follow established application server API standards, and extend them when necessary.
  • Use a relational database programmatically and interactively to support application development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to define and prioritize new application features and enhancements.
  • Provide Tier 3 customer support for application functionality issues.
  • Manage Online Software Development project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
  • Work collaboratively with development team, lead architect and the president to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation.
  • Provide ongoing project plan/status reporting for use by account managers, clients and management.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with object oriented design
  • Knowledge of web security including OWASP
